Ecov is a social economy start-up created in 2014. Its aim is to transform the car into collective transport by co-constructing the first local public carpooling service. Ecov provides turnkey solutions for connected carpool stops to local authorities and businesses. The company is an approved Entreprise Solidaire d'Utilité Sociale and recognized as a Young Innovative Company.
As part of the French government's Carpooling Plan, which aims to encourage motorists to adopt carpooling, Ecov launched FranceCovoit, a mobile application enabling carpoolers to certify their journeys to qualify for a bonus, as well as a sponsorship feature. Ecov called on Collective to find a team capable of working on the application's visual identity, product design (from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes) and mobile development.
As the customer had drawn up detailed specifications, and the Collective.work team had been able to specify a number of elements during the briefing stage, we had a good idea of the type of team that would be able to carry out this project under the right conditions.
Collective.work proposed the Wild Web collective, which blended exactly the skills we were looking for, combining a designer profile experienced in art direction and UX / UI with versatile developers able to work on the development of native mobile applications, on iOS as well as Android.
In less than a few days, the Bunka team was able to find a complete team or squad to create a web application from scratch. The design mission enabled us to lay the foundations of the MVP's user experience and to better direct development.
At the same time, the team of very high-level front-end and back-end developers deployed on the mission enabled us to finalize this first project with Bunka in excellent conditions, and to deliver an MVP whose functional and design characteristics exceeded the customer's expectations.
